Ok. I have a lot of catching up to do. Lets start with Flickr. I have used it and Picassa and like them both although I have a Picassa account rather than a Flickr one. I really like the Colr Pickr application, its fun to play around with. Soon I will be creating my very own trading card.
P.S. For those curious folks out there who dont already know, I am leaving the library as of 12/23 because I will be moving to Mexico on January 4th to take a course and teach English. It is very possible that I will blog about said adventure...stay tuned.

Technology...
Hm. I consider myself fairly technologically literate, there is a lot I don't know about, but I am ok with that. I have an iPod and a laptop and a cell phone and thats about all I need. I am torn about whether or not more technology is necessarily a good thing. I dont want robots to take over the world one day, so I'm a little wary.

Library 2.0 to the MAX!
This is so extreme...
Yesterday I made some kids add the library as their friend on MySpace. Then I quietly went back to my computer, accepted them as a friend and sent them a message stating:
There are only two people to a computer. I mean it.
Then I sat, smirking to myself and waiting for them to receive the message. They looked so surprised! It was hilarious.
